Celebrating this year´s Book Day we worked throughout the whole month of May in different activities to bring reading closer to children.
We divided literary genres and styles into Grades like this: Grade 1 and 2 worked with Classic Stories, Grade 3 with Comic Books, Grade 4 with Mystery, Grade 5 with Mythology and Grade 6 with Biographies. For each style, several activities were done to explore and broaden the knowledge and taste for the genre. We closed the Month with a big Character Parade in which each child chose a character from the stories worked on. It was a moment full of joy and cheer that brought us closer to the love for books, stories and fantasy.
