Every Wednesday, Grade 2 and Grade 5 students get together to do Buddy Reading. The last few weeks have been especially exciting as we have been showing each other what we have been learning in our English classes.
Grade 2s have been learning about Fly Guy. They shared their own Fly Guy comics with the Grade 5s! The Grade 5s were extremely impressed with the creativity and humour shown.
Grade 5s have been investigating about music and were able to play new rhythms to the grade 2s. The grade 2 students copied these rhythms using the percussion instruments found in the classroom.
What an awesome way to share our learning and practice our reading!
